KRKA EXPERIENCE

With more than two hundred species of birds, the Krka National Park is one of the most important ornithological areas in the country and beyond. The Krka National Park is named after the river of the same name that flows here. With as many as seven waterfalls, the Krka River is a natural phenomenon. Within the Park, there are over 830 plant and over 200 animal species. It is located in Šibenik-Knin County. Swimming is allowed in the Park at certain, precisely marked places (Roški Slap) at your own risk.

PLITVICE EXPERIENCE

There is no bad time to visit Plitvice. In the summer months, walk through the park hidden from the sun’s rays by the beautiful cascading waterfalls, of which there are a total of 16 in the park, while in the winter months, when everything is covered with snow, they again have that indescribable beauty. They were protected by UNESCO in 1979. They are located halfway between Zadar and Zagreb.
